Immediately after the previous article, we will continue to take the electrical industry customers in the previous article as an example to describe our service process.

“Solution Implementation” is the link to verify the solutions provided by the “Solution Seminar”, and it is also the basis for the subsequent “Solution Optimization” link. We will use the same weight of desiccant in three different containers, but the combination of desiccant used in each container is different.

The three container numbers are: TCKU620183(1), TCKU618028(2), TCKU605387(3).

Step 1: Cargo loading time selection

The cargo should be loaded when the relative humidity is low. We checked the recent relative humidity in Yangzhou through the Internet, and tracked the low humidity period with a temperature and humidity detector. It is finally determined that 9 am to 5 pm is the best loading time. Note: The data is different in different regions, different years, and different seasons. Subject to actual measurement.

Step 2: Check if the containers are in good condition

Check whether the containers are damaged, and check whether the moisture content of the wooden floor of the containers are too high.

 

1. Container one: 40HQ | Container Number: TCKU620183(1)

This container is in good condition and undamaged. Taking 8 different areas of the container wood floor to measure the moisture content, the data are: 13.7%, 12.80%, 14.60%, 9.9%, 11.3%, 10.5%, 10.7%, 12%, and the average data is 11.9375%. The data is less than 15%, which meets the requirements of the “Solution Guide”.

2. Container Two: 40HQ | Container Number: TCKU618028(2)

This container is in good condition and undamaged. Taking 8 different areas of the container wood floor to measure the moisture content, the data are:12.5%, 10.1%, 12.5%, 11.8%, 10.8%, 11.7%, 11.8%, 11.8%, and the average data is 11.625%. The data is less than 15%, which meets the requirements of the “Solution Guide”.

3. Container Three: 40HQ | Container Number: TCKU605387(3)

This container is in good condition and undamaged. Taking 8 different areas of the container wood floor to measure the moisture content, the data are:10.6%, 12.9%, 13.7%, 12.8%, 12.5%, 10.0%, 10.1%, 10.5%, and the average data is 11.6375%. The data is less than 15%, which meets the requirements of the “Solution Guide”.

Step 3: Block the container vents

We blocked the vents of Container No. 1 and No. 2 and deliberately opened the vents of Container No. 3 (No. TCKU605387(3)), because customers reported that if the vents were not blocked, the moisture damage of the cargos would not be so serious.

Step 4: Detect the moisture content of cargo packaging cartons

Our “simulation test” is based on the initial moisture content of the cargo packaging carton is 13%. After the customer improved the storage conditions of the product, the average moisture content of the cargo packaging carton was basically controlled at about 12.5%, and did not exceed 13%. Therefore, the recommended dosage of 16KG desiccant is still effective, and there is no need to increase it.

Randomly inspected 4 cartons, the moisture content was 12.20%, 12.5%, 12.5%, 12.8%, and the average was 12.5%.

Randomly inspected 4 cartons, the moisture content was 13.0%, 12.2%, 12.5%, 11.7%, and the average was 12.35%.

Step 5: Cargo loading

Cargo loading, desiccant placement, and temperature and humidity tracker installation are carried out at the same time.

2) We install the “temperature and humidity tracker” in the middle of the container, and the device records data every 15 minutes.

Step 6: Cargo transportation and data feedback

The above solution is based on the data of the “simulation test”. In reality, the actual data will be slightly different, so we need to track the actual situation of cargo transportation in order to optimize the solution.
The following data is requested:

  • Time of arrival of the cargos.
  • Weigh the desiccant in time when unloading the container, and record the added weight of the desiccant in each container.
  • Ambient temperature and humidity when unloading the container.
  • Send back the temperature and humidity tracker.
